Our Step-by-step TV Mount and Cable Concealing Process
1. Consultation
Tell us your TV size, wall type, and what you want done with the cables. Most quotes are given over the phone or by email within the hour. No call-out charge, no obligation.
2. Wall Assessment
On arrival, your engineer identifies stud or masonry positions using a professional stud finder and checks for hidden pipes or cables using a cable and pipe detector before any drilling begins. We don't guess.
3. Bracket and TV Mounting
We fit the bracket using the correct fixings for your specific wall type, check it's perfectly level, then hang and secure your TV. We confirm the viewing height with you before final fixing and test everything is solid.
4. Cable Management
Cables go inside the wall (our most popular option — works on plasterboard and brick), through the fireplace cavity, or in surface plastic trunking for a clean finish where in-wall routing isn't possible. We fit brush plates at all entry and exit points.
5. Final Check and Clean-up
We check the TV is working and all sources connected, then leave the room exactly as we found it — no dust, no debris, no drill residue. We don't leave until you're satisfied.

Every TV has a VESA pattern — a standard set of screw-hole measurements on the back that determines bracket compatibility. Common patterns are 200x200, 400x400 and 600x400, though larger screens go up to 900x600. Tell us your TV make and model and we'll bring the correct bracket on the day.
Fixed TV Wall Bracket for Stud Walls
Of all TV wall brackets, this is the most common. It involves fixing your TV flat to the wall. This provides a clean, streamlined look and is ideal for rooms where the angle does not need to be adjusted.
Tilting TV Wall Bracket
This type of wall bracket allows you to adjust the viewing angle of your TV screen up or down. This can be ideal for rooms where the TV has to be mounted much higher up on the wall, such as above grand fireplaces.
Full Motion / Swivel Bracket
Extends, swivels and tilts — pull the TV out from the wall and angle it in any direction. Perfect for open-plan rooms, kitchens, or any space where you watch from multiple positions. We recommend full-motion brackets from Vogels or Sanus for screens 55" and above for maximum stability.
